Fred W. Issler
Fred W. Issler, 92, of rural Prospect near Richwood, died Tuesday afternoon Feb 19, 1991 at Marion General Hospital.
Bom Nov. 13, 1898, in Pleasant Township, he was the son of Charles C. and Margaret Jane (Cratty) Issler. They preceded him in death along with his wife, Mary Lucille (Finef-rock) Issler, whom he married in 1922. She died in Sept, 1978.
He was a jersey dairy farmer and a retired federal milk market administrator. He was a Navy veteran of World War I. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Prospect. He was also a member of the Prospect Lodge No. 444 F. & A.M.; the Scottish Rite Shrine of Columbus; the American Jersey Cattle Club the Marion Elks Lodge No. 32; and the Vern I. Mounts Post No. 368 of Prospect.
Surviving is a son, Thomas of Prospect; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn McCleery of Michigan; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services have been set for 11 a.m. Friday at St Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Monty Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, where the Prospect Legion will handle graveside services.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
