Geneva I. Johnson
Geneva I. Johnson, 82, 1015 Es-
pyville Road N., died at 7:16 p.m. Tuesday May 28, 1991 at Community Nursing Center.
She was bom Sept. 8,1908, in Galion, to the late David L. and Missouri (Dutton) Sousley. She married Ira Donald Johnson Sr. May 6, 1930, and he survives.
A homemaker, Mrs. Johnson attended Ohio Northern University and taught school several years in country schools. She was a member of New Blooming-ton United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school several years and was a leader of Methodist Youth Fellowship. She was a member of Farm Bureau Council and Marion County Extension Homemakers and a 4-H adviser.
Other survivors are a son, David Johnson, Sycamore, 111.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Edward Sousley and Paul Sousley, Ada, Ralph Sousley, Bluffton, and David Sousley, Lima; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Poole, Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. Mildred Nakula, Williamsburg, Ky., and Mrs. Harriet Lunan, Portland, Ore.; and a daughter-in-law, Geraldine Johnson, New Bloomington, widow of the Johnsons' son, Ira Donald Johnson Jr., who has helped with Mrs. Johnson's care. '
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. John Schlicher officiating. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 tonight.
Memorial contributions may be made to New B iooinington United Methodist Church.
