Esther Marie Wheeler

RICHWOOD - -  Esther Marie Wheeler, 80, Columbus Ave., Delaware, died at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday March 25, 1992 at Grady Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 4, 1911, in Claiboume, she was the daughter of Egbert and Clara (Cassidy) Norris. On July 14, 1937, she married Gerald L. Wheeler, in Monroe, Mich. He died Feb. 19, 1991. The homemaker was a member of Claiboume United Methodist Church and a former member of the Delaware Senior Citizens. Surviving are three sons, Edwin Rodger Wheeler, Richwood, Russell Allen Wheeler, Marion, and Donald Eugene Wheeler, Radnor, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a niece and nephews. A brother and a sister are deceased. The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood with the Rev. Dan J. Smith officiating. Burial is in Claiboume Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Claiboume United Methodist Church.
