William W. Hook, 70, of Rich-wood, died Sunday morning, April 26,1992, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was a WW II U. S. Navy veteran, a reared timber buyer and co-owner of the Richwood Furniture Store. He was born Feb. 3, 1922 in Mil-ford Center to the late William A. and Clara D. (Hopkins) Hook. On June 24, 1944 in Norfolk, Va. he married Kathryn Ann Speyer who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Michael L. of Columbus, David P., Larry W. and John Kevin, all of Richwood; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs. Dollie Brown of Richwood and Mrs. Margaret Hansen of Detroit Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Stofeheck Funeral Home. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Fred Cheney will officiate and interment will be at Price Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood Tree Commission in care of the funeral home.
