Clifford Ray Britton, 70. Osborne Road, near Byhalia, died Thursday morning Aug 20, 1992 at his home.
The LaRue native was bom Jan. 26, 1922, a son of W. Forest and Annora Paulson Britton.
Retired after 38 years of farming. Mr. Britton had also worked as a brick mason for 19 years, and was a member of National Woodcarvers, National Rifle Association, and Marion Bricklayers Local.
On Jan. 30, 1942, he married the former Clara Jane Trumbo who survives.
Also surviving are a son. James R. Britton of near Richwood; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Nancy J.) Farrington, Bellefontaine; a brother, Charles V. Britton, Huntington, Ind.; two sisters, Margaret Anthony, LaRue, and Barbara Craig, Upper Sandusky; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
The service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Dwight J. Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, near LaRue.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. and in the evening Satur-day. Memorial contributions may be made to Tri-Care Hospice, Bellefontaine.
