Dana T. Spain, 85, of Richwood died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1993, at Marion General Hospital.
He was retired from the Columbus Coated Fabric Company where he worked for 40 years. He attended the Richwood First Baptist Church.
He was born June 13,1907, in Union County to the late Lawrence Gale and Eva Spain.
He married Helen Griffith in Kentucky in 1981 and she survives. He is also survived by three sons, Jack Spain of Columbus and Tom and Joe Spain of California; two stepsons, Steve Robinson of Bucyrus and Bill Robinson of Richwood; a sister, Mary Cline of Canada; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood, with the Rev. James Taylor officiating. Interment will be in the York Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood Civic Center.
