Glen Harley Born, 92,1639 Marion-Waldo Road, died this morning July 1, 1993 at Marion General Hospital.
Born Feb. 26, 1901. in Hardin County, he was the son of the late Ulrich "John" and Stella (Mauller) Born. He married the former Ethel Mary Kale Feb. 26,1927. She preceded him in death May 6,1988. Mr. Born was a self-employed farmer and drove a school bus for many years for LaRue Schools. He was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Donald "Gene" Bom, Lima; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Glenna) Moore, Marion; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Maude) Acito, Leisure City, Fla.; seven grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren. The funeral is 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Ruth Stambach officiating. Burial is in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
