Dorsey Roberts
Dorsey Roberts, 84, of Marion died Thursday, Aug. 12,1993, at Marion General Hospital.
A member of Enterprise Baptist Church, he was a retired truck driver for the Erie Railroad and had been a school bus driver in Greenup, Ky.
He was born Oct. 1,1908,in Carter County, Ky., to the late Jim and Elizabeth Gibson Roberts. On Dec. 24, 1931, he married Dovie M. Williams and she preceded him in death on Oct. 24, 1980. He was the last member of a family of 13 children, having been preceded in death by seven brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by 10 sons, Boone Roberts of Maloneton, Ky., Lewis (Louie) Roberts, Albeit (Ab) Roberts, Dorsey (Chet) Roberts and Conley (Cork) Roberts, all of Marion, Luther (Duke) Roberts and Larry (Eston) Roberts, both of Caledonia, Bobby Roberts of Marysville, Delbert (Deb) Roberts of Bellefon-taine and Harlan (Hodge) Roberts of Richwood; two daughters, AnnaLee (Annie) Harr of Bradford and Elaree Martin of Prospect; 53 grandchildren; and 81 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Fred Buckner will officiate and interment will be at the Price Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 2 p.m. through the evening.

I am the grandson of DorseyIII. The Dorsey in this obituary is my great great great grandfather and its cool to find this. I love to know more if I could find more like where did Jim and Elizabeth come from and what they did.
