Zaccheus O. Millington; 62, of Leesburg, Ga., formerly of the Richwood area, died Tuesday, Aug. 24,1993, at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Ga.
He was a home decorator and attended the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. He was born Dec. 25,1930, in Richwood to the late Harry E. and Minnie Cleo James Millington. He was also predeceased by a son. He married Pearl Louise Green and she survives. He is also survived by three sons, Allen Millington of Leesburg, Brian Keith Millington of Whiteman AFB, Mo., and Steven Ray Millington of Albany, Ga.; four daughters, Pam Scott of Smithville, Ga., Rebecca Sue Beamon of Riverdale, Ga., Carmella Meadows Ross of Leesburg and Paula Marie Sprague of LaRue; 17 grandchildren; a greatgrandchild; three brothers, Ike and Ernie Millington of Richwood and Paul Millington of Laneville; and three sisters, Hulda Olson and Abbie Hamilton, both of Richwood, and Reatha Schmelzcr of Florida. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev, Fred Cheney will officiate and interment will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
