John W. Price Sr., 76, died Friday evening November 12, 1993 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Marion after an extended illness.
He was born May 12,1917, in Essex, a son of John H. and Clara Etta (Lewis) Price, who preceded him in death. He was a retired farmer and had attended First Church of the Nazarene in Marion. On March 28, 1946, in Greenup, Ky., he married Geneva M. Rigdon who died June 9, 1992. Mr. Price is survived by two sons, John W. Price Jr., Richwood, and Larry E. Price, LaRue; a daughter, Norene Miller, Bucyrus; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Lowell Price, Richwood; and a sister, Mary Jane Kraner, Marion. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday with the ReV. Floyd Radebaugh officiating. Burial will be at Price Cemetery.
