RICHWOOD—Formner Claibourne area resident Leah M. Earick, 92, died Sunday morning November 14, 1993 at Marion Manor, Marion. She was born Feb. 6, 1901, in Claibourne, a daughter of George W. and Belle A. (Hitt) Moore. The home-maker was a member of Advent Christian Church, Claibourne, where she had taught Sunday School for 45 years. She married Homer B. Earick in March 1934, and he died in 1983. Mrs. Earick is survived by two sisters, Esther Thompson, Sunbury, and Bernice Moore, Claibourne; nieces and nephews. Eight brothers and sisters are deceased. The service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Advent Christian Church with the Revs. Thomas Rutan and Daniel Grose officiating. Burial will follow in Maskill Cemetery. Friends may call at Stofcheck Funeral Home 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, and one hour before the service at the church Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Advent Christian Church, in care of Melissa Grose, 27011 Ford Reed Road, Richwood, 43344, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
