RICHWOOD — Clarence "Jr." Dillion, 68, died Monday afternoon December 6, 1993 at Memorial Hospital of Union County, Marysville.
Born Feb. 20, 1925, in Madison County, he was a son of Herman and Stella (Tatman) Dillion.
Mr. Dillion was a retired farmer and a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a lifetime'''member of Richwood VFW Post 870; DAV, Marysville; and Verne I. Mounts Post 368, American Legion, Prospect.
Surviving are companion, Ruth E. Gray; a son, James Dillion, Richwood; a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Branch, London; a brother, Harry Emerson Dillion, London; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Butcher, Mrs. Louise Dunston, Mrs. Ernie (Doris) Morris and Mrs. Robert (Norma) Puckett, all London; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five stepchildren; six stepgrandchildren and one stepgreat-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, and a brother.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood. Burial will be in Claibourne Cemetery where veteran graveside services will be held. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
