Ernie Allen Black, 69, 768 Dry Lane
Road, LaRue, died at his residence
Wednesday morning February 9, 1994.
Born May 23,1924, in Hardin County, he was the son of the late Frank and Eva (Gallant) Black. On Sept. 1. 1982. he married ErmaM. Hart and she survives. Also surviving are three stepsons,
Richard Molihan, Marion, John Hart and Robert Molihan, both Athens; a
stepdaughter, Anna Coon, Jacksonl; a brother/Richard Black, Kenton; three sisters. Stella Hites. Helen Scott and
NettieHyatts, all Kenton; a granddaugh-ter, a great-granddaughter, and four step-grandsons.
A daughter and two brothers are de-
ceased.
i Mr. Black was a World War JJ vet- eran serving in the U.S. Army. He was 'a member of VFW in Kenton. American Legion, and Disabled American Veter- ans. He retired from Conrail, where he worked as a derrick operator for 46 years.
Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Tim Pasma officiating. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery west of Kenton. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Graveside rites will be conducted by the Marion United Veterans Council.
