Homer Ester Tucker, 86,61 W. Vine St., LaRue, died Thursday morning September 29, 1994 at MedCenter Hospital.
He was born Nov. 2,1907, in Putnam County, W.Va., the son of Edward and Samantha (Marshall) Tucker. He was retired frp, the former New York Central Railroad, having worked in the maintenance department. On June 17,1946, he married the former Priscilla M. (Sid) Hughes, and she survives. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. The service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Joanne A. Powers officiating. Burial will follow in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-6 p.m. Saturday.
