Graydon C. Mohr
Graydon C. Mohr 74, formerly of the Prospect and Richwood areas, died Friday February 3, 1995 at East Lawn Manor in Marion.
He was born June 1, 1920. in Kirby, the son of Clifford C. and Verna Mae (Woodard) Mohr.
On June 23, 1946, he married the former Susan Somerlot and she died June 28. 1969.
He is survived by one son. Gary Mohr of Chiilicothe: one brother. John Mohr of Richwood: two sisters. Arlene (William) Bell of Delaware and Lavon Collins of Marion; and three grandchildren.
He was a World War 11 Army veteran. He was retired from Fairfield Engineering in Marion.
He attended the Richwood Chinch of Christ. He was a member of the Verne I. Mounts Post 368 of the American Legion in Prospect. He was a charter member of the VFW Post 870 in Richwood.
The funeral will take place Tuesday at noon at Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood with the Rev. Monty Kaufman officiating. Veteran graveside services will be handled by the Prospect American Legion and the Marion Area United Veterans Council.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Aaron Mohr, Steve Di x. Wayne Collins, Robert Goyer, Harold Stiffiler and John Gwynn.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Prospect Emergency and Fire Department.
