Madge V. (Dill) Green
RICHWOOD — Madge V. (Dill) Green, 86, S. Clinton St., died Thursday morning February 10, 1995 at Marion General Hospital.
She was born Sept. 1, 1908, in Marion County, the daughter of the late Harry B. and Myrtle F. (McKinley) McCombs.
On Dec. 21, 1927; she married Herbert C. Dill and he died Jan. 13, 1969. She then married Guy L. Green Nov. 14, 1975, and he died Feb. 27, 1984.
She had worked as acook at the York Center School and then North Union High School. She was a member of York McKendree United Methodist Church, its Women's Society, Union County Farm Bureau, and the Richwood Civic Center.
She is survived by three sons, Clifford J. Dill, Gary L, Dill, both of Estes Park, Colo.; Robert D. Dill, Loveland, Colo.; two daughters,Mrs. Doug (Dorothy) Stark, Richwood; and Mrs. Mike (Karen) Thompson, Richwood; a sister, Margaret Stark, Lakeview; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister..;
The funeral service is II a.m. Monday at York McKendree United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Wilson officiating. Burial is in York Cemetery. Friends may call-at the Stofcheck Funeral Home 2-6 p.m.
