Myron J. Fields
Myron J. Fields 77, 710 N. Main St.,  New Bloomington, died Thursday morning, May 18, 1995 at MedCenter Hospital.
He was born Feb. 16, 1918, in Bowling Green Township, the son of the late Jessie Wilbur and Delia Alice (Columber) Fields.
On July 1, 1950, he married Teresa M. Snyder and she survives.
Mr. Fields was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving with the Corp of Engineers in the Pacific. He worked as a press operator with Marion Motor Products 10 years, then with Marion Engineers Depot five years, followed by 19 years with the Defense Construction Supply Co., Columbus.
Also surviving are three sons, James L. and Robert E. Fields, both New Bloomington; Myron J. Fields Jr., Marion; four daughters, Mrs. Sheridan (Gladys Mae) Lucas, Marion; Mrs. James (Jean Ann) Farmer, High Point, N.C.; Mrs. Donnie (Betty L.) Canterbury, and Rose Marie Fields, both New Bloomington; a brother, Clair E. Fields, Alexandria; a sister, Mrs. Roy (Maxine) Burk, Marion; 13 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.       -
The funeral is 2 p.m. Monday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Joseph Losh officiating. Burial is in Agosta Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m Sunday and also in the evening.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the Central Ohio Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
