Walter Park
RICHWOOD — Walter Park, 91, died Sunday May 28, 1995 at Community Nursing Center, Marion. He had been ill for four months.  He was born May 22, 1904, in Richwood, to Oscar and Lucy (Kyle) Park.
He married L. Marie Park in September 1924, and she died March 29,1991. He is survived by a son, Jack Park, Altadena, Calif.; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
His parents, a son, Bill, and a brother and a sister are deceased.
Mr. Park was a layout man for Thew Shove], Elyria, and Marion Power Shovel.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Richwood, the former Richwood Lions Club, and had worked at Thomasson Hardware.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood, where friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Charles Fye will officiate. Burial is in Claibourne Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
