(Wiley) Lingo
(Wiley) Lingo, 79, South Clinton Street, died Monday July 10, 1995 at Marion General Hospital.
Born Nov. 26, 1915, in Union County, she was the daughter of the late Harley C. and Gertie Mae (Moore) Clapsaddle.
She was married to Ivan Lingo and he died in 1972.
A member of the former Grace Chapel Methodist Church, she had worked at the gas station in Byhalia, at B.F. Goodrich, at Memorial Hospital as a nurses aide, and at Marblecast.
She is survived by two sons, R. Gene Wiley, Richwood, Jim Wiley, Ridgeway; a daughter, Mrs. Varon (Barbara) Tallman, West Mansfield, a brother, the Rev. Gerald L. Clapsaddle, Bradenton, Fla.; 20 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
The funeral is 10 a.m. Friday at
Stofcheck Funeral Home with the
Rev. Charles Fye officiating. Burial is in Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Pallbearers will be Jim and Scott Wiley, Bill McComas, Tony and Tom Williams and Kip Tallman.
Memorial contributions may be made to Richwood Emergency Squad.
