RICHWOOD — Patricia Ann Wurtsbaugh, 61, Bomford Street, died Thursday September 21, 1995 at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware, following a six-month illness.
Born April 27, 1934, in Byhalia, she was the daughter of Charles Henry and Lida (Vannausdale) Smith. On Feb. 18, 1950, in Mount Vernon, she married Emmett Junior Wurtsbaugh and he survives. She was a homemaker. She is also survived by four sons, Rock, Gary, and Donny Wurtsbaugh, all Richwood, Junior Wurtsbaugh, Marion; a daughter, Mrs. Ron (Clarice Ann) Phillips, Richwood; two sisters, Kathryn Worn staff, Brewster, Lula Wurtsbaugh, Marion; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and a grandson. The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood, with the Rev. Fred Cheney officiating. Burial is in Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Pallbearers will be sons, Rock, Gary, Donny and Junior Wurtsbaugh, also Tom Taylor and Ron Phillips.
