RICHWOOD — Edwin R. Wheeler, 57, Pearl Street, died Sunday October 15, 1995 at the Greenview Hospital, Bowling Green, Ky., where had had been on vacation.
Born Aug. 14, 1938, in Richwood, he was the son of the late Gerald L. and Esther M. (Norris) Wheeler. On Feb. 26, 1961, in Essex, he married Judy K. Dirst, and she survives. A 1958 graduate of Richwood High School, he had worked at Whirlpool Corporation for more than 30 years. He is also survived by two sons, Jeffrey A. Wheeler and Richard E. Wheeler, both Richwood; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Vicky) Gehres, Marysville; two brothers, Russell A. Wheeler, Marion, and Donald E. Wheeler, Randor; and two grandchildren. The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday at Stofcheck Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Weston Jones officiating. Burial is in Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
