Richard L. Linstedt
RICHWOOD — Richard L. Linstedt, 71, of Green Camp-Essex Road, died Tuesday morning, January 2, 1996 at the Americare Nursing Center in Marion.
Born on June 7, 1924, in Cardington, he was the son of the late Henry and Alice (Beckel) Linstedt.
On Nov. 23, 1984, he married the late Hope D. Robinson in Prospect.
He was a retired farmer and had worked as a guard at Whirpool Corp. He was a member of St. Paul's Luthern Church in Prospect. He was a member of International Cockshutt Club, Delaware County Antique Farm and Machinery Association, Marion County Steam and Gas Engine Society, Marion Moose Lodge 889, Marion E,agles Lodge 337 and Marion Senior Citizens. He also served in the Merchant Marines during World War II.
He is survived by a son, Larry Linstedt, Marion; a stepson, Ronald M. Fitzgibbon, Marion; a brother, Oscar Linstedt, Upper Sandusky; three sisters, Mrs. Altha Kramer, Florida, Mrs. Lula Levings, Cardington, and Frances Fosnaugh, California; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Prospect with the Rev. Monty Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Stofcheck Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul's Luthern Church Memorial Fund.
