RICHWOOD — Ruby M. Sidle, 77, of Richwood, died Friday March 3, 1996 at her residence following an extended illness.
Born Aug. 23, 1918, in Nacogdoches, Texas, she is the daughter of the late Jodie and Maddie (Phillips) McDonald. On Jan. 28, 1946, in Richwood, she married Robert J. Sidle, and he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the Claibourne United Methodist Church and Mothers Study OCCL Club. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Tom (Sherry) Evans, Ada, Mrs. John (Teresa) Rockenbaugh, Richwood, Mrs. Wes (Nancy) Britenstine, West Mansfield, Mrs. Steve (Loretta) Jones, Richwood; a brother, Leroy McDonald, Shreveport, La.; a sister, Mrs. J. P. (Reatha) Morgan, Shreveport, La.; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandaughter, Maggie Jones; four brothers; and a sister. The funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood with the Rev. Fred Cheney and Rev. Glenn Decker officiating. Pall Bearers will be Mrs. Sidle's grandsons. Burial is in Claiboume Cemetery. Friends may call 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tri Care Hospice of Union County, 125 N.
