RICHWOOD — William A. Giffin, 39, died Monday, 1996 at his home.
Born Jan. 15, 1957, in Mount Gilead, he was the son of the late Frank I. Giffin and Marjorie J. (George) Giffin McMullen, who survives in Clearwater, Fla. Also surviving are a brother, Frank Giffin, Springfield; and a sister, Mrs. Ed (Cathy) Guy, Clearwater. Mr. Giffin was employed at Krogers in Westerville and had formerly worked with the Richwood Police Department. He was a member of Chesterville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed boating and fishing. Graveside funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Rivercliff Cemetery, Mount Gilead, with the Rev. Darrell Howell officiating. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Stofcheck Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood Police Association in care of the funeral home. Mr. Giffin's fellow officers will serve as pallibearers.
