NEW    BLOOMINGTON Ronald Jon Wheeler. .52. 1973 Mi Olive-Agosta Road, died Friday August 9, 1996 at Marion General Hospital.
Born    July    18.    1944.    in Columbus, he was the son of the late John and Mar t-h a (Burke) Wheeler.
On June 3. 1966, he married Ethel Marie Gilliam and she sur-_ vives.
He came to ;ne LaRue area in 1964 from Milton. Fla. He served in the U.S. Air Force and worKed for the Elgin Local Schools as a custodian/maintenance person. He worked with the New Baseball for Youth for many years.
He is also survived by a son. Shawn Patrick Wheeler. Columbus: two daughters. Mrs. Don (Shannon) ingies. LaRue. Shelley Ann Wheeier, New 31oommgton. and one grandson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Stofcheck Funerai Home. LaRue. with Rev. Daniel Kiger officiating. Buna! will be in the LaJtue Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Allen and Kelvin Bollinger. Active pallbearers arc Shawn Wheeler, Don Ingies, Larry Gilliam, Estill Gilliam, John Johnston and Tony Flowers.
Memorial contributions may be made to Elgin West Elementary School.
