Farrell "Tiny" Landon, 69, of Lakeview, formerly of Marion, died Monday, Jan. 20,1997, at his residence after having been in failing health for two years.
He retired from the Whirlpool Corporation in 1988 after 33 years as a line supplier. He was a member of Eagles Lodge 3615 and Moose Lodge 1533 of Lakeview. He was born April 26, 1927, in Marion to the late Orville O. and Mabel Marie Stone Landon. He married Frances Irene Wheeler May 20, 1983, in Marion and she survives. He is also survived by a son, Timothy (Sharon) Landon of Lakeview; three grandchildren, Timothy Landon, Heather Cellar and Jamie Means; six great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two stepsons; seven stepdaughters; 22 step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. <. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home. The Rev. Floyd Lundy will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to Tricare Hospice of Logan County or the Logan County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
