Helen A. Sheridan, 76, LaRue, died Tuesday February 18, 1997 at MedCenter Hospital.
Born Nov. 14, 1920, in Kenton, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Catherine (Chamberlin) Columber. She married Philip H. Sheridan in August 1951. He died Jan. 16, 1982. A homemaker, she was also a member of Pythian Sisters of LaRue. She is survived by two sons, Patrick Sheridan, LaRue, and Pete Columber, Akron; two daughters, Mrs. Freddy (Joyce) Wilkerson, Kenton, and Mrs. James (Teresa) Vermillion, LaRue; a sister, Donna Cosart, Kenton; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, William and Jack Columber. The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. Jo Powers officiating. Burial is in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to LaRue Lions Club, Kenton Little League or the Ronald McDonald House at Children's Hospital, Columbus, all in care of the funeral home.
