Eleanor Bays, 63, of the Richwood area died Monday, Dec. 22,1997, at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.
She was a homemaker. She was born Nov. 8, 1943, in Nevada, Mo., to the late Buell and Roberta Ellis Dunkin. She is survived by her husband, Earl Bays, whom she married Feb. 18, 1960, in Illinois; two sons, Steven (Patricia) Bays of Richwood and Tracy (Valerie) Bays of Richwood; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Dave (Sharon) Dunkin of Wyoming and Norm (Eva) Dunkin of Colorado; and a sister, Dottie (Jim) Vance of Washington. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Carrol Mathys will officiate and burial will be at the Byhalia Cemetery.
