Thomas Edward Dunbar
Thomas Edward Dunbar, 43, of London died Saturday, March 28, 1998, at the James Cancer Clinic in Columbus.
He was a 1972 graduate of Elgin High School, a member of the London Grace Brethren Church and the Lake Choctau Twirlers Western Square Dance Club. He enjoyed his work as a maintenance technician at London Industries where he worked for 10 years. He lived with brain cancer for nine years and his quiet courage and dignity were an inspiration to all who knew him.
He was born June 16, 1945, in Marion to George Robert and Margaret Mae "Maggie" Anson Dunbar and was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother of Prospect; two sons, Justin A. Clary of Upper Sandusky and Joshua A. Dunbar of Upper Sandusky; their mother, Pat Dunbar of Upper Sandusky; two brothers, Robert "Tony" Dunbar of Prospect and William "Bill" Evans of Marion; two sisters, Eva Monique Dunbar of Columbus and Mary A. Dunbar of Richwood; and a special friend, Barbara Cranston of London and her daughter, Beth Cranston.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Timothy Ruesch will officiate and burial will be at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Brethren Church in London.
