Jeanine Worthington
Jeanine Worthington, 78, of Richwood died Thursday, April 2, 1998, at her home after a courageous bout with cancer.
She was a graduate of Richwood High School and Dr. Brown's Clinical Laboratory of Technology in Connecticut. She was a 1969 graduate of the Marion General Hospital School of Licensed Practical Nursing and worked 10 years at Community Med Center Hospital in Marion. She was a member of the Richwood Church of Christ and was a dedicated farm wife, loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed caring for her family and the hobby of writing.
She was born May 1, 1919, in LaRue to the late Lloyd and Nelle Young Dickason and was predeceased by a son, Jimmy Worthington, a daughter, Barbara Worthington Bolender; and a stepbrother, Dr. Edward Cpwgill.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Worthington whom she married July 22, 1944, in Riverside, Calif.; two daughters, Huey (Jack) Walsh of Gahan-na and Carla Mabrey of Perrysburg; five grandchildren, Julie Ruder, Jennifer Walsh, Dr. Steve Walsh, Stephanie Sperling and Kimberly Andrescik;. and two great-gfandchildren, Scott Ruder and Haley Nicole Mabrey.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Richwood Church of Christ. The Rev. Scot Gorsuch will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood'Church of Christ children's choir in care of the church.
