Dale LeRoy Warner
LARUE — Dale LeRoy Warner, age 76, of 9155 Harding Highway W, LaRue, Ohio, died Sunday, May 3,1998, at 11:40 p.m. at Marion General Hospital.
He was born Dec. 30, 1921, in Morral, Ohio, to the late Omer Dale and Iva Jane (Granlee) Warner. On Aug. 21,1948, he married Lois J. Hughes and she survives living on the same farm where they began their married life.
Also surviving are two sons, Larry G. Warner of Wooster, Ohio, and Warren Jay Warner of Marion; one daughter, Mrs. Terri (Don) Wolf of LaRue; one grandson, Rich Wolf; three sisters, Marie Graves of Delaware, Evelyn Harper of Marion and Mr. Warner's twin, Dell Hickman, also of Marion.
A brother, Gene Warner, and two sisters, Helen Little and Olive Williams, are deceased.
Mr. Warner worked as an engineer assistant for Tozzer and Associates for 25 years. He farmed for more than 38 years and attended the LaRue United Methodist Church. He also was a World War II Army veteran serving in the Pacific Theater.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7,1998, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Joanne A. Powers. Burial in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday.
