Guy C. Mowery, 43, of Richwood died Thursday, May 21, 1998, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.
He was a 1973 graduate of North Union High School and attended Ohio University for two years. He worked for the Department of Youth Services in Delaware and had attended the First United Methodist Church in Rich-wood. He enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting and was a talented artist. He was bom Nov. 2, 1954, in Marysville to Joseph G. and Mary Gay Schambs Mowery. His mother survives in Richwood. He was married to Tania Wheatly and was a loving father to his children, Philip Guy Mowery and Kelly Nicole Mowery; He is also survived by a brother, Joseph M. (Alison) Mowery of Delaware; and a sister, Lisa G. (Mike) Martin of Richwood. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Union High School art department in care of the funeral home.
