NEW BLOOMINGTON — Charles A. Wilson, age 92, of 2405 DeCliff Road N., New Bloomington, died Saturday May 30,1998, at 1:10 p.m. at East Lawn Manor.
He was born Dec. 2, 1905, in Marion County to the late Amos Harry and Molly (Clixby) Wilson On May 31, 1935, he married Lucille King; and she died Oct 24, 1985. He is survived by one son, Carroll Wilson of New Bloomington; one daughter, Mrs. Marilyn (James) Chase of Richmond, Va.,; and one sister, Clara Alice Miller of Marion. One son, Alwyn Wilson, is deceased. Mr. Wilson was a retired farmer, member of the Meeker United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Montgomery Grange. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3,1998, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will the Rev. Dr. Keith Weller. Burial in the Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 24 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. Those who wish may make contributions to the Meeker United Methodist Church.
