Jacquelyn June Watkins
Jacquelyn June Watkins, 68, of Prospect died Monday, June 22, 1998, at her home.
She was a 1948 graduate of Radnor High School and worked at Ohio Wes-leyan University before she was married. After raising her family, she worked at the Elder Beerman store in Marion. She was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church and Beta Sigma Phi sorority and loved having her family with her.
She was born June 19, 1930, in Delaware to the late Floyd and Helen Caf-fee Osborn.
She is survived by her husband, John W. Watkins whom she married July 26, 1953, in Radnor; a son, Thomas S. (Julie) Watkins of Raymond; four daughters, Deborah (Richard) Stover of Bellefontaine, Susan (Marc) Ahmay and Judith (Michael) Anderson of Prospect and Krista (Timothy) Sullivan of Marion; 10 grandchildren, Aric and Jennifer Stover, Brandi and Kyle Ahmay, Abbey and Austin Sullivan, Sarah, Benjamin and Katie Watkins and Kain Anderson; a great-grandson, Thomas P. Watkins; two sisters, Charlotte (Harold) Watkins and Elizabeth (Richard) Coonfare of Radnor; and a brother-in-law, Wayne (Dorothy) Watkins of Brookville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Prospect United Methodist Church. The Rev. Stephen Bull will officiate and burial will be at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews, Austin Sullivan, Aric Stover, Benjamin Watkins, Kyle Ahmay, Mike Watkins, Dennis Watkins and John Coonfare.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jackie Watkins Scholarship fund in care of the funeral home at 201 S. Franklin St., Richwood, Ohio 43344.
