Marian M. Wright, 84, of Richwood Community Apartments died Monday, Aug. 10, 1998, unexpectedly.
The former Byhalia area resident was bom March 29,1914, and the daughter of Aaron B. and Maggie Marmon Meddles. Her husband, Harold E. Wright, whom she married April 15,1933, preceded her in death on Sept 19, 1991. She was a retired cook in the North Union Local School District, a member of the retirees' group, the former Byhalia United Methodist Church and attended Bethel United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Harold Eugene (Verna L.) Wright of Marion; two daughters, Myma M. Green of Marion and Betty A. McGrane of San Diegp, Calif.; a daughter-in-law. Beverly J. Wright-Shearer of Marysville; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Virginia Sue Wright, and a sister, Bemiee Huffer, are deceased. Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Byhalia Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood.
