Donald Dean Bingley
HOUSTON — Donald Dean Bingley, 51, passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, after a long illness at VITAS Hospice in Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 27 years, Margaret "Maggie" Bingley; his son, Wade Dean Bingley of Spring, Texas; his daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Dawn Burgess and John of Spring, Texas; his brothers, Wayne Bingley of Continental, Ohio, Gerald Bingley of Prospect, Ohio, and Ricky Bingley of Marion, Ohio; a sister, Shirley Fryman of Prospect, Ohio; and one grandchild, Taylor Kenna Burgess. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Otto Wayne Bingley and Mary Ann Smith Bingley, and his brother, Charles Bingley.
Don lived in Houston, Texas, for the past 17 years. He worked for Erie, Conrail and Santa Fe railroads as a track and building maintenance supervisor. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a decorated Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Army, where he received three Bronze Service Stars, National Defense Service Medal and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Visitation will be at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, Ohio, on Friday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at 11 a.m. at Stofcheck Funeral Home. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery. Minister will be the Rev. Debra Berry. Graveside military services will be conducted by the Phillippi-Clement Post 101 American Legion of LaRue, Ohio.
