MORRAL — Howard Dean, age 102, of 3953 Dry Lane Rd, Morral, Ohio, died Friday March 12, 1999, at 12:12 p.m. at Marion General Hospital. He was born January 8, 1897 in Circleville, Pickaway County, Ohio, to the late Oliver and DEAN Elizabeth
(Rihl) Dean. On May 13,1922, he married Grace Stiverson and she survives. He was a retired farmer, member of the LaRue United Methodist Church, Marion County Landmark, Marion County Historical Society, and the LaRue Senior Citizens. Surviving besides his wife Grace are three sons, Richard (Marcia Ann) Dean of Kenton, Ohio, Jack (Donna) Dean of Cardington, Ohio, and Howard (Susan) Dean Jr. of Waldo, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Dean Wiseman of Winter Haven, Florida, and Mrs. Doris (Foy) Shoewalter of Prospect, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-greatgrandchildren. One granddaughter, six brothers, and four sisters are deceased. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 15,1999, at 11:00 a.m. at the LaRue United Methodist Church. Ministers will be Rev. Joanne A. Powers and the Rev. Doctor John H. Dean. Burial in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue, Ohio, from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Those who wish may make contributions to the LaRue United Methodist Church. Pall bearers will be grandsons, Jeffery L. Shoewalter, Douglas Richard Dean, Jack A. Dean, James K. Dean, John H.
