| LARUE — Ferne Marie Clay, age 93, of 7068 Mt. Olive-Green Camp Road, LaRue, died Thursday, June 11,1999 at 7:45 p.m. at Marion General Hospital.
She was born January 24, 1906 in Big Island Township, Marion County to the late Jesse and Bertha (Schwaderer) Uncapher. On May 9,1926, she married Frank E. Clay and he died Aug. 30,1977. Mrs. Clay was a homemaker, member of the Green Camp Baptist Church, the Homemakers Club, Prospect and Green Camp Senior Citizens, and the Tymochtee Grange. She is survived by one son Paul W. (Jean) Clay of LaRue, a son-in-law John Allen of LaRue, one sister, Mary Folk of Green Camp, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Allen and Jean Ann Clay, granddaughter Debbie Clay Goulick, and one sister, Vena Mae Rush. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 14,1999 at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. David C. Lippert. Burial in the Price Cemetery. Friends May call at the funeral home in LaRue from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday. Those who wish may make contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
