He retired from the Eaton Corporation in Marion in 1991 after more than 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Richwood First Baptist Church, the Verne I. Mounts American Legion Post 368 in Prospect, the Waldo Fish and Game Club and the Marion Moose Lodge. He donated more than 32 gallons of blood during his lifetime.
He was bom Aug. 8, 1928, in Loveland to the late Fred and Ida Siefke Kuba and was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Sue Fields; 10 brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel M. Stansbery whom he married Aug. 9, 1963, in Michigan; two sons, Dennis Kuba and Steven Hamilton of Rich-wood; two daughters, Judy (Samuel) Wiford of Wisconsin and Sandra (Charles) Brown of Richwood; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lewis Kuba of Richwood and Earl (Georgeanna) Kuba of Marion; and three sisters, Lucille Witt of Richwood, Irene Comer of Raymond and Laurabelle Mars of Logan.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Barbara Stevens will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery where veterans services will be conducted by the Marion County United Veterans Council. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood First Baptist Church, 101 E. Ottawa St., Richwood.
