NEW BLOOMINGTON — Larry Gene Buck, age 56, of rural New Bloomington, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at 10:54 p.m. in the emergency department at Marion General Hospital.
He was born May 10,1943, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Ransom and Anna Lee (Winters) Buck. On Jan. 7, 1967, he married Carol Ann Syme in Stuart, Fla., and she survives. Also surviving is one son, John Michael Buck of South Bend, Ind.; and one daughter, Cheryl Ann Buck of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Linda Lee Buck of Columbus, Ohio. He was a self-employed farmer, had served in the United States Army Reserves, member of the Meeker United Methodist Church, Marion County Farm Bureau, and Springhill 66'ers Farm Council. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 13,1999, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue, Ohio. Minister will be the Rev. Dr. Keith Weller. Burial in the Frame Cemetery, Meeker, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday. Those who wish may make contributions to either the Meeker United Methodist Church or the Humane Society Animal Shelter.
