Mary V. McCafferty
RICHWOOD — Mary V. McCafferty, age 81, of Harmon Patrick Road, Richwood, died Friday morning at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.
She was born Oct. 31, 1918, at the home where she currently resided to her parents Elmer and Lina (Snediker) Warner.
On Dec. 15,1935, in Coshocton she married Clement McCafferty, and he died Jan. 5, 1990.
She was retired from the Scotts Company in Marysville, where she worked in the mailing department for 24 years. She was a member of the Claibourne United Methodist Church, its United Methodist Women, was a Farm Bureau member, and along with her husband had worked on the farm. One of her great joys was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Lee (Kathy) McCafferty of Rich-wood; one daughter, Linda (Gary) Carrel of Richwood; five grandchildren, Laurie Davis, Susie Miller, Shelley Pfeiffer, Kimber-ly Light, and Shawn Patrick McCafferty; six great-grandchildren, Nikki Davis, Matt Davis, Brandon Pfeiffer, Jared Miller, Lindsey Pfeiffer, and Justin Light; and one brother, Arthur Warner of Richwood.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Maurice and Walter Warner; and one great-grandson, Benjamin Pfeiffer.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood, where friends may call Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. The Minister will be the Rev. Glenn Decker, burial will be in the Broadway Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Claibourne United Methodist Church and/or the Hospice at Grady in care of the funeral home.
