MARION — Harould B. Stevens, age 75, of 128 Sargent St., Marion, Ohio, died Sunday, March 19,2000, at 1:25 a.m. at his residence.
He was born Jan. 5, 1925, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Howard and Mary (Smith) Stevens. On Nov. 14, 1948, he married Jane Spitzer, and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Daniel K. (Monica) Stevens of Marysville, Ernie F. (Bobbi) Stevens of Fredericksburg, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn (Dutch) Van Eck of LaRue; and Mrs. Cyndee (Tommy) Thompson of Columbus; 10 grandchil-dren; and nine great-grandchil-dren; one sister, Margaret Mounts of Jacksonville, Ore. Mr. Stevens was a retired maintenance engineer from Whirlpool Corp, member of the Management Club at Whirlpool and a member of the U.S. Power Squadron. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 22,2000, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue, Ohio. Minister will be the Rev. Tim Pasrsa. Burial in the LaRue Cemetery.
