Robert Thad Evans
Robert Thad Evans, 55, of Richwood died Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Grant Medical Center from injuries sustained in a farming accident.
He was a 1962 graduate of Richwood High School and was a farmer. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, an active member of the Essex Knights of Pythias Lodge for 37 years, member and former board member and president of the Farm Bureau and a 4-H advisor.
He was born Aug. 1, 1944, in Marion to the late Robert L. and Lotus Lucille Hedges Evans and was predeceased by an older brother, Mark Evans.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Rosebrough Evans whom he married Jan. 20, 1968, at the Richwood First United Methodist Church; two sons, Greg (Michelle) Evans and Jared Evans of Richwood; a daughter, Carrie Evans of Columbus; a brother, Tom (Sherry) Evans of Ada; two sisters-in-law, Delores Evans of Westerville and Vicki Cooper of Columbus; two nieces, Melanie Evans and Tara Biederman; and three nephews, Brian (Lisa) Evans, Travis (Tina) Evans and Wade Evans.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Richwood Church of Christ. The Rev. Scott Gorsuch will officiate and burial will be at the Clai-bourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Stofcheck Funeral Home.
Pall bearers will be Bill Parish, Gary Ledley, Stan Krawczyk and Brian, Travis and Wade Evans.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Essex K of P Lodge building improvement fund in care of the funeral home.
