Robert Thomas Ratliff
Robert Thomas Ratliff, 37, of Lakeview died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, in a drowning* accident at Indian Lake.
He had worked at the Whirlpool Corporation in Marion for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing softball in the Marion area and the Indians, Browns and Buckeyes. Most of all, his loved his family and friends.
He was born Nov. 8, 1962, and is survived by his father, Ronald E. Ratliff of Marysville; his mother, Shirley F. Dowell Retterer of Lakeview; six brothers, Ron (Jennifer) Ratliff, Dennis (Linda) Ratliff, Rick (Molly) Ratliff and Brent (Brenda) Retterer of Prospect, George Ratliff of Lakeview and Brian (Kim) Retterer of Richwood; a sister, Beth Ann (John) Boehm of Radnor; a grandmother, Clara Dowell of Magnetic Springs; 14 nephews; seven nieces; and a special friend and her children, Cindy, Jon, Justin and Elliot Price.
He was predeceased by his other father, Phil Retterer, earlier this year.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Harry Meade will officiate and burial will be at the Shoup (Thompson Twp.) Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
