UPPER SANDUSKY Sarah Jane Holland, age 83, formerly of LaRue, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, at 8:55 p.m. at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
She was born Dec. 6, 1916, in Hardin County, to the late Charles and Pearl (Seiser) Barrett. On Sept. 27,1937, she married Lauren W. Holland and he died Aug. 27,1998. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Darlene (Herbert) Miller of Laguna Hills, Calif, Mrs .Verna Sue (Theodore) Zerwin of West Minster, Colo, Mrs. Myrna Lu (Paul) Valiquette of Toledo, Mrs. Barbara (Dennis) Montgomery of Pickerington, and Mrs. Laureen (Thomas) Jor-dan of Sedona, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mary Frances Holland and three brothers, Robert, Richard and Rodney Barrett are deceased. Mrs. Holland was a home-maker, member of St. Joseph Church of LaRue, member of the S.S.H. Club and also worked as a beautician in Columbus. Funeral mass will be held Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Father Joseph Losh. Burial is in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday where prayer services will be held at 8 p.m. Those who wish may make contributions to the Fairhaven Community in care of the funeral home.
