LARUE — Kenneth Ray Swafford, age 19, of 174 McCormick St., LaRue, Ohio, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at 8:47 p.m. at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, Ohio.
He was born Feb. 14, 1981, in Marion, Ohio. His mother Connie Swafford is deceased. He was a graduate of Elgin High School. He did masonry work for David and Jimmy Doss. He is survived by maternal grandparents, Amos P. and Barbara Swafford of Marion, two brothers, Amos Burk of Marion and Billy Burk of LaRue, one aunt, Paula Swafford of LaRue, four cousins, Lisa Cobb and Debbie Pennington, both of LaRue, and Barbara Gay and Eric Gay, both of Marion. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 30,2001, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue, Ohio. The minister will be the Rev. C.L. Fuqua. Burial will be in the Preston Cemetery in Alger, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 6-8 p.m. on Monday.
