| Robert J. O'Connor, 85, of Prospect, formerly of Bay Village, died Friday, April 13,2001, at Marion Manor.
He retired as a maintenance supervisor at the Ford Motor Company after 25 years of service and was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church, the Prospect Senior Citizens and for 50 years was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons. He was bom Oct. 30,1915, at Wellsville, N.Y., to the late James P. and Helen Sleeper O'Connor and was predeceased by a brother. He married Ruth Morgan Nov. 26,1938, and she died March 8,1995. He is survived by three daughters, Sally O'Connor of Marion and Wilmot, Susan (Bruce) Thielen of Keene, N.H., and Kathryn (Randall) Johnson of Prospect; and six grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at the Prospect United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, and at the Bay United Methodist Church in Bay Village at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29, with the Rev. David Hoffman officiating. The family will be available one hour before each service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prospect United Methodist Church, 203 N. Elm St., Prospect, Ohio 43342, or to a charity of the donor's choice. The Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood is handling arrangements.
