Sandra Jo Gibson
Sandra Jo Gibson, 41, of Richwood died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at Memorial
Hospital of Union County after a brave battle with her illness for the past
11 years.
She was a member of the Pharisburg United Methodist Church and had worked
at the Gooseberry Patch and Buehler's Market in Delaware and Child Support
Services in Union County. She was active with the Canine Kids 4-H Club,
trained pilot dogs and was an Explorer with the Boy Scouts. She and her
husband took care of the records at the Claibourne Cemetery and were active
with Richwood Baseball for Boys.
She was born Aug. 19, 1959, in Marion to Herman and Helen Jackson Feasel
and was predeceased by her father.
She is survived by her mother of Magnetic Springs; her husband, Calvin
Gibson whom she married July 8, 1978, at the Pharisburg United Methodist
Church; a daughter, Angela Gibson of Richwood; two sons, Christopher and
Bobby Gibson of Richwood; a brother, Mike Feasel of Richwood; her mother-
and father-in-law, Clifford and Starling Gibson of Richwood; aunts, uncles
and cousins; and a special friend, Donna Morley.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Pharisburg United
Methodist Church. The Revs. Debbie Nance and Donna Morley will officiate
and burial will be at the Broadway Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral
home, P.O. Box 122, Richwood
