Danny Ross Hanna
Danny Ross Hanna, 54, of Essex died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, at his home after an extended ill-
He was a vehicle operator for CSX based out of Kenton. He enjoyed deer hunting and traveling and was the family comedian,  always keeping everyone smiling.
He was born Sept. 5, 1947, in Gilbert, W.Va., to the late James and Inez Carpenter Hanna and was predeceased by two sisters, Faye Nelson and Betty Hager.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Ruth Crad-dock Hanna whom he married Sept. 6, 1969, in Chapmanville, W.Va.; two daughters, Danetta (Craig) Cope of Richwood and Tanya (Alfie) Payne of Marysville; a son, Josh Hanna of Richwood; four grandsons, Ross and Gabe Payne and Kade and Wesly Cope; six brothers, Jimmy (Mildred) Hanna, Thurman and Warren Hanna and Greg (Kathi) Butcher of Chapmanville, Mack (Lucy) Hanna of Wooster and Bill (Bessie) Hanna of Columbia Station; six sisters, Ethel (Donald) Cochran of Chapmanville, Thelma Ferrell of Cleveland, Bonnie Perry of Omar, W.Va., and Ruth Ann (Troy) Jeffrey, Janice Taylor and Linda (Paul) Nelson of Marysville; a special friend, Dennis "Jake" Jacques of Mount Victory; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Evans Funeral Home in Chapmanville. Pastor Wesly Craddock will officiate and burial will be at the Craddock Family Cemetery in Rocky Branch, W.Va. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood and from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Evans Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Loving Care Hospice, 113 S. Main St., Marysville, or the National Pancreas Foundation, P.O. Box 600590. Newtonville. Mass. 02460.
