Kevin E. Bowen, 46, of Richwood died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at his home after a battle with cancer.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and had worked at General Castings as a mill operator. He was born Aug. 19, 1955, in Marion to Wade and Jessie Grounds Bowen and was predeceased by his father. He is survived by his mother of Maryland; his wife, Susan E. Williams Bowen whom he married Aug. 7, 1987, in Inez, Ky.; a daughter, Shannon Penny of Bellefontaine; a stepson and stepdaughter, Joey and Nicole Green of Richwood; grandchildren, Ash-ton and Clayton Green and Paisha and Brennen Rasey; a brother, Wade Bowen of Marysville; four sisters, Karen Shepard of Marion, Elsie Beckle of Galion, Bonnie Steinburger of Marion and Barbara Ortman of Maryland; and an aunt and uncle, Maggie and Ron Vaughn of Richwood. Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Terry Cudd will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Loving Care Hospice, 113 S.Main St., Marysville. This is archival information that was taken from (perhaps old) paper documents.
